About Me /Training Philosophy
My dog training journey began when I signed the adoption papers for my first dog, Oscar. As someone who didn’t have dogs growing up, I went all in on educating myself on what it takes to have a well trained, well balanced dog. Shortly after adopting Oscar, I began working closely with Last Hope K9 Rescue in Boston. I gained hands-on experience training foster dogs with problematic behaviors, ultimately leading to more dogs getting adopted with a chance at a healthy, well-balanced life.
This experience quickly inspired me to start my own dog training company. I believe in building a foundational relationship that is based on cooperative play, teamwork, mutual respect, and trust. Every dog owner deserves personalized training that prioritizes the emotional well being at both ends of the leash.
I have two incredible dogs of my own: Oscar (Pitbull Chihuahua Mix) and Stella (Boxer). I also enjoy spending my free time mountain biking with my wife and taking Oscar and Stella on hikes.
I am certified by world renowned trainer Ivan Balabanov in his Training Without Conflict (TWC) methodology.
