“Training with Eric was extremely helpful. We have a high energy two year old husky, who, as you can expect, can be stubborn. Our main goal was for reliable recall off leash. After just a few training sessions with Eric, we were able to establish the priority of our commands not only in the home, but also in active outdoor situations (other dogs, animals, people).
Eric has a kind and relaxed manner that made us comfortable while also providing an extremely effective way of coaching. He incorporates techniques to make training fun for both the owners and the dog! We simply cannot thank Eric enough!”

“After rescuing our dog, Buck, we realized we needed help. We were excited to find Eric, who we believe rescued us! He is super passionate about his training and brings so much knowledge to the sessions. He does a great job explaining the how and why behind a dog's behavior and what the next steps are for compliance. Buck used to nip, jump, bark consistently, and now we see that he understands and listens to what we ask of him. Eric has passed off his knowledge to us which we continue to implement every day. I am not sure what we have done without Eric! “

“Right from the start I knew that Eric would be the perfect trainer for both my dog Penny (an independently minded Australian Labradoodle) and me. I was totally impressed with his training experience and his vast knowledge of dog behavior. He approaches his training process with authority and conveys his methods to each dog with his direct heartfelt focus. His lesson plans are all approached with clarity. He sensitively listens to your needs and then modifies his methods to your dog’s particular training goals.
My dog is always delighted to work with Eric. His passion for dogs convinced
Penny that training could be fun. I’m particularly delighted that we have been able to play fetch together as a daily exercise. Eric is a vault of dog knowledge and is an absolute pleasure to work with. I highly recommend that you consider Eric for your training needs.”

“Eric was recommended to us by a neighbor and we're so thrilled we got his information. Our pup Dexter came to us as a 6 month old rescue, he had been passed around to a couple families and was a little anxious and very rambunctious. We tried a couple K9 training programs around us but nothing stuck. His recall was non-existent.
Eric took the time to come to our home, learn about our dog, our lifestyle and what we were trying to achieve through training. His approach of learning, motivation and obedience through play, interaction and trust worked perfectly for us.
In a few short sessions Dexter's recall and behavior improved dramatically. Eric's instruction on how to use an e-collar was a lifesaver. We now enjoy many leash-less walks as a family. Whether you're looking to train a new pup or refresh your grown dog's skillset, Eric is the person for you. We've recommended him to families throughout the north shore and will continue to!”

“We were recommended to Eric and have been working with him for my dog’s reactivity issues. Logan is a rescue and his fear and reactivity - predominantly with strangers and often on leash - makes it difficult for him to trust people. Logan is a big boy so unfortunately his reactivity will result in lunging and other behavior that can make it difficult for him to be around new people.
Eric has so much patience in finding ways to help and work with Logan. He is not judgmental or critical and is very balanced in his approach. Eric works with me as the owner just as much as he does Logan. Recently, Logan did a week board and stay with Eric and did well. It was a big leap for both of us.
We have more work to do with Logan but I am confident with Eric’s help he will continue to improve and already has.”

“I began working with Eric shortly after adopting my 4-month old rescue, Pepper. Being a new dog owner was stressful--and I was far less prepared than I ever thought. Eric's training and guidance helped provide the structure both Pepper and I needed, and helped me understand how best to work with and communicate with my new pup. Within days walks went from being chores (and not fun for Pepper or me!) to collaborative, productive, and fun time together. We progressed into outdoor training, and I can now comfortably take her out to a park--even one with a bunch of other dogs--to play and have a great time. Eric's style of positive reinforcement and reward helped provide the right training environment to help us learn and ensure the training stuck--and made it fun and interactive for Pepper.”
